Agnitum’s acclaimed firewall brings Outpost Security Suite Pro a double gold for protection against internal attacks in the latest Anti-Malware.ru firewall test
St. Petersburg, Russia — September 21, 2011: Agnitum, developer of the highly-rated Outpost line of PC security solutions (with eight VB100 awards in a row), is pleased to announce that Outpost Security Suite Pro, the company’s flagship product, has won two gold awards for protection against internal attacks in 40 tests.
The test conducted by Anti-Malware.ru, the leading Russia-based testing laboratory, in September 2011 shows that Outpost Security Suite Pro is the only Internet security suite to win gold awards in Maximum and Standard security configurations. Outpost Security Suite Pro 7.5 scored 91% and 84% with "Maximum" and "Standard" security levels, respectively with 40 out of 40 scores.
With these results, Outpost has once again proved its robust levels of protection against typical internal attacks, non-standard data leaks, unauthorized process termination, and non-standard kernel penetration techniques. These skills were also evident in Matousec’s Proactive Protection Suite Challenge results.
